Getting Big!

So, this morning I got an estimated weight on Luke by standing on the scale with and without him. 10.5 pounds! I can't believe it! He was born at 6 lbs 12.6 oz, was 7 lbs 2 oz at his two week appointment and now he's somewhere around 10 lbs 8 oz?! I can't believe how fast he's growing. I've been putting Karo syrup in his bottles three times a day (per his doctor) to help him with constipation, and I'm thinking those extra calories are really starting to pack it on! Tommy and I are going out on a real true date tomorrow to dinner and a movie and leaving Luke with my mom overnight. When I was pregnant I would say "I'm not leaving him overnight until he's AT LEAST a few months old!" Well... things change :) Tommy and I are so ready to have a night just for us and I so trust my mom with the baby so hopefully I won't worry too much and hopefully I won't be driving to her house in the middle of the night to pick him up. I think I'll be able to resist!
