I have been such a blog slacker! I just haven't had any motivation to sit down and get a blog done. So, we'll go back to Easter. We traditionally spend Easter at my Aunt Dot's house, but this year my cousin's husband was able to come home from Indiana where he's stationed just for the weekend, so we scooted it to Saturday so he could spend the day with us. When we got there Luke had just woken up and was kind of testy and he was feeling everyone out. We went almost immediately into the egg hunt, and after he spotted his first two eggs he was totally into it and a doll for the rest of the day. He snatched up a ton of eggs and got lots of change to put in his piggy along with some candy.
after his first two eggs, he was totally committed- even going in the tree!

Sunday we had dinner at Tommy's sister's house, but I left my camera at home so I didn't get any pictures there. He got more Easter gifts there, too.
I don't remember anything remarkable happening during the week, and then Friday was the first week of softball season! Tommy's team won both games by 10 runs! Probably because I'm not playing this season :) Luke and Katie and Claire chased bubbles most of the time and had fun.
Saturday reminded me of exactly why I'm so happy I'm no longer at the salon. It was just such a laid back day. We started off by running to Waldorf to pick up a few things, then went to visit Lindi while she was setting up for her Mom's surprise party, met friends for lunch, took a leisurely stroll around Target after lunch, and then headed to Gilbert Run to let the kids play for a couple of hours. It was SO nice. It was a beautiful day and a day with no plans turned into so much fun and we got to see so many friends.
And here he is at the park at Megan’s softball game on Tuesday
Seriously...the picture of you and Luke kissing on the jungle gym MUST be framed. It's a gorgeous picture!
