Tommy was so happy to see Luke running around with other boys!  Seems like we mostly play with little girls.

Richmond Zoo

Yesterday we headed to Richmond to go to the zoo.  It was a beautiful day and we had such a great time.  Luke was really into all the animals and got to feed and pet the giraffes!  They scared him a little, he would alternate between crying and wanting to touch them again.

I pet his nose, but definitely didn’t want his gross long tongue on my hand to feed him :)

Dylan was really good with just a couple of fussy little spots.  He made up for it when we got home with a couple hours of crying.  Oy.

Feeding a bird that landed on his seed stick!  Notice I’m on the other side of the fence.  I realized yesterday I am definitely not an animal lover.  And birds freak me out.  Really badly.

We had so much fun and it was such a beautiful day to be outside!  I definitely think we’ll take a trip back there when Dylan is old enough to enjoy it because in my opinion the Richmond Zoo is WAY better than the National Zoo.

Ocean City 2011

Last weekend we took our annual family trip to Ocean City.  This year was a little different with a  2 year old and a newborn.  This was the first year that I haven’t gone out and gotten stupid drunk, so it was kind of a different experience.  I was in bed by 9:00 every night.  We had a great time and the weather was beautiful.

Whoooopsie…

Okay, so I let myself get waaay behind on blogging.  I just never feel like sitting down and doing it!  I know you other bloggers know the feeling.  My other problem is that now going through my pictures to see what I’m going to blog, I’m soooo ashamed of the amount of pictures I’ve taken of Dylan!  So, here’s what we’ve been up to:

Andrea’s First Birthday Party!!

Luke loved these animal hats.  He also got a horse and a duck.

Luke is still totally in love with his baby brother.  He constantly wants to hold his hand, give him kisses, and check on him.  IMG_4126 IMG_4112 IMG_4115 IMG_4117

And, here is my favorite picture that has been taken of Dylan.  He was about a week and a half old in this picture
